By using Docster ("the Service") you agree to these Terms with us (the operator of the Service). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
Docster analyzes a GitHub repository you authorize and generates documentation (README, API reference, CHANGELOG, CONTRIBUTING) delivered as a Pull Request. Output is generated by an AI model and may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing it before merging.
Accounts
You sign in with GitHub. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping any issued API keys secret. You must have the right to access any repository you submit.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to process code you are not authorized to access.
- Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, abuse the API, or disrupt the Service.
Plans and billing
- Free: README generation, one per day.
- Pro ($15/month): all document types, up to 15 generations per day. Billed monthly via Stripe and renews automatically until canceled.
- You can cancel anytime — including from your Docster dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated documentation is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or reliance on generated output.
Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
